When did your passion for the pinup scene start?

I really got into it in 2012. Right after I graduated high school in 2012 I was like I’m going to be the person I’ve always wanted to be and looked up to. In high school I was kind of a hipster but after school I would watch pinup hair and makeup tutorials. The Cherry Dollface was one of my inspirations because there wasn’t a lot of pinup you-tubers back then.

What kind of style are you influenced by?

I love the Tiki 40's/50's style. I’m obsessed with pineapples so I always find cute pineapple dresses and pineapple purses and include them in my pinup aesthetic.

Who is most influential to your style?

Lucille Ball for sure! I’ve watched her shows since I was little. My grandma and I would watch her every time I stayed at her house. She was very pleased and excited when I grew into my pinup style.

What is your favourite era?

I loooooove the 40's and 50's. 40's more nowadays.

What are your Top 5 must have items for being the pinup you are?

1 - Pineapple clothing (my signature)

2 - Red Lipstick

3 - Bandanas or Vintage Scarves

4 - Hairpieces

5 - Suavecita Products

Tell us about your makeup routine and how long it takes you?

Right now I have rainbow hair so I’m doing rainbow brows. I keep the rest of my face pretty basic pinup style (eyeliner, mascara, blush, red lipstick) I usually take an hour to get ready in the morning.

How do you set and style your hair?

I wear a lot of wigs and hairpieces. I do set them to have a vintage wave. I use Suavecita grooming spray and then roll up the hair in a foam roller and then steam the wig. Leave over night and you get a cute pinup hairstyle.

What's your best kept secret?

Find your style and rock it! If you like unicorns mix that into your pinup style and rock it. I chose pineapples.

Final love from Pinupples

Even if you’re shy or awkward, get out there! Do photo shoots! Do pinup pageants! In the end you’re going to make great friends and memories. It’s amazing when you find your tribe of pinup friends. I’m in a group called The Vivacious Vixens and they are the best group of ladies I have ever met!
